Hello there. My name is Ahsaki (I'm usually refered to as Saki), and this blog was created with the purpose of describing my experience as an intern. I will be interning at Losina Art Center (LAC) from January 5th to the 28th. Last Thursday, I was able to go meet and dicuss the contents of my schools internship program.
For some class homework, I needed to do a "Scavenger Hunt". Here it is:
Morning rituals
1. When did you wake up? Around 5am? Then I went back to sleep and got up around 6 30.
2. What did you eat for breakfast? I had rice, eggs, and coffee.
3. How did you get to your internship site? Bus
4. How long did it take? about 40min? (From school)
At internship
5. Who do you see when you walk around your internship site? There was two guys walking out from the parking lot, and a man standing next to his car.
6. Who is your mentor? Olya.
7. What type of work do you see yourself doing at your internship? I will be working with marketing.
8. What will make your work meaningful to your internship as a workplace? That I'll be working with something I enjoy.
9. What will your days and hours be? TBA.
Out and about
10. What is the community like around your internship site? Pretty normal.
11. What might you do for lunch on a normal internship day? I'm not sure...
12. How will you get home from internship? Public Transportation
13. What might you do after a typical workday? Maybe go to the mall or home.
